Nicole Anderson-gappa

Owner + Founder

Hi, I’m Nicole – owner and creative mind behind Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals. What started as a passion for curating beautiful, meaningful spaces has grown into a full-service rental company. I’m endlessly inspired by the magic that happens when old meets new, and by the opportunity to create unforgettable experiences with our carefully curated collection of vintage, modern, and timeless pieces. I’ve always believed that the little details tell the biggest stories, and there’s nothing I love more than helping couples bring their unique wedding vision to life.

When I’m not dreaming up design ideas or loading up our delivery van, you’ll find me teaching Jr, Kindergarten, hitting up a local antique store or an estate sale, planning our next road trip adventure, or squeezing in a quiet moment with a cup of coffee while snuggling our cat, Lucy.

Logistic Coordinator

Hi, I’m Matt—co-owner of Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals alongside my wife, Nicole. Whether it’s building custom backdrops, installing dance floors, or mastering the art of packing everything perfectly into the van, I’m always up for the challenge.

With over 15 years of experience in the event industry as a DJ, I understand the importance of flow, timing, and thoughtful details. From arriving on time and placing rentals with purpose to efficient end-of-night pickups, I focus on making each event run as smoothly as possible.

When I’m not at an event or working in the warehouse, you’ll find me teaching elementary computer classes, riding motorcycles, antiquing, encouraging impromptu Blink-182 singalongs, or sneaking in a round of golf.

Hello! My name is Rebecca Carlyle and I have been with the Prairie Lane team since the summer of 2022! I am a natural born planner & have a keen eye for design. I also have been planning the prettiest parties & designing jaw dropping events since 2017 with Serendipitous Events as the lead IA+SD event planner! I have a vision & am always ready for a challenge & am looking forward to creating your dream event with our inventory of endless rentals!

I strive to create personalized & unique experiences tailored to each client’s needs. Whether an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, I am dedicated to excellence & committed to delivering seamless events. Every event deserves to be celebrated with meticulous attention to detail & creative flair & transformed into an unforgettable experience.

When I’m not working on the prettiest events in SD+beyond, you can find me at the nearest country concert, enjoying the girl-mom life with my two daughters & always scheming up our next family or solo adventure!

Event Stylist

Hi, I’m Monet and yes, just like the artist!
Creativity runs deep in everything I do. I’ve spent over seven years as a florist, and my love for weddings, events, and parties continues to grow. I work with Prairie Lane, where I help bring events to life, from pulling vintage rentals to assisting with setups — making sure every detail feels special and thoughtfully styled. I also bring an artistic flair through hand-lettered calligraphy on mirrors and signage, little touches that add a unique charm.

When I’m not working with the Prairie Lane team, I run my own creative business focused on floral preservation. Whether it’s blooms from a wedding, a memorial, or a maternity moment, I preserve them in handcrafted pieces that help people hold onto life’s most meaningful days.

Being named after Claude Monet feels more than fitting, I’ve always seen the world through an artistic lens, and I love using that creativity to help others capture memories in beautiful, lasting ways.
